Founded in 2012 in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, Vergers Urbains is an organisation that aims to make the city edible by involving city dwellers in its projects through a wide range of methods. Streets, pavements, the foot of buildings, rooftops, wasteland, balconies: beyond mere ornamentation, their aim is to enhance these green spaces by making them edible, through collective, non-exclusive appropriation by residents.
