From 1 to 30 September, le19M had the privilege of travelling to Venice to celebrate the centenary of Lesage at Homo Faber, a biennial event celebrating contemporary craftsmanship. An opportunity to showcase the exceptional savoir-faire of the embroiderers who work for Maison Lesage, a resident of le19M.

Visitors were able to take part in the Murmuration workshop designed by the artist Aristide Barraud and Hubert Barrère, Artistic Director of Maison Lesage. This collaborative embroidery workshop is the fruit of the work of thousands of hands across the world, throughout 2024.

After stopping off in Marseille, Dakar, and Venice, the embroidered organza pieces returned to Paris on 26 September, to coincide with the exhibition, Lesage, 100 years of fashion and decoration. Visitors to la Galerie du 19M in Paris/Aubervilliers were invited to add their own personal touch.
