le19M continues its commitment to CHANEL and The King’s Foundation with the creation of a specialist millinery course

This intensive programme is designed to train the next generation of specialist milliners in the UK, with the support of Parisian milliner Maison Michel, le19M’s resident Maison d’art.
This new millinery scholarship will explore the creative interface between skills, materials, making, and design. The programme will be led by highly skilled artisans and tutors, under the mentorship and guidance of Maison Michel’s Creative Director, Priscilla Royer.
The inaugural embroidery training programme began in January 2023 as a 24-week intensive residential course and has recently welcomed its second cohort of students.
With the aim of preserving specialist craft skills and expertise and providing opportunities for a new generation, these Métiers d’art savoir-faire training programmes are based at the CHANEL Métiers d’art training workshop located at The King’s Foundation Highgrove training centre in Gloucestershire.
