Introduction to le19M

Bridging the 19th arrondissement of Paris and the town of Aubervilliers, this unique 25,500 m² site was created at the initiative of CHANEL. The name of the site is highly symbolic: 19 represents both the arrondissement where the site is located and one of Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite numbers. The M stands for Mode (fashion), Mains (hands), Métiers d’art (Crafts), Maisons (houses), and Manufactures.
